Ida sculptures in clay, stone, and bronze.
Her statues can be classified as being decorative.
Ida also works with terracotta, bronze, marble and other stones found in the Land of Israel.
Her statues convey the coming to life of the mute stone block, as it assumes the form, movement, composition, and elegance of the human body. Her statues emotionally express man and the turning points in his life.
Ida Born in Levov, capital of Galicia – Ukraine today.
Immigrated to Israel in 1957.
Was raised in Kefar-Aviv, near Ashdod.
Currently resides in Rehovot, married to Hezi Nitzani.
Mother of three, two daughters and a son, and grandmother to five grandchildren.
A nurse by profession – contributes to the welfare of senior citizens of Rehovot.
In addition, engages in voluntary activities, among them nursing and sculpturing.
Art and sculpture have always accompanied Ida.
She acquired who expertise in these fields from well known teachers as:
Rachel Shavit – sketching and drawing.
Nahum Inbar – sculpturing techniques.
Rachel Gordin – sculpturing in ceramics.
Thomas Ditroi – classic and figurative sculpturing.
Shulamit Har-Tal – mesh wire sculpturing techniques.
Reuven Sherf – sculpturing in stone.
Louisa Sternstein – sculpturing in marble and sketching.
Ida is a member of the Artists and Sculptors Association of Rehovot.
She's a member of the Artists and Sculptors Association of Israel, and a member of “Impact” – the professional organization of plastic arts in Israel (Tel Aviv).

את פסליה אפשר לשייך לפיסול הדקורטיבי.
אידה יוצרת בטרקוטה, ברונזה, שיש ואבני ארץ ישראל.
בפסליה חשים כיצד גוש האבן הדומם מקבל צורה, תנועה, הבעה תוך הבלטת הקומפוזיציה והיופי של הגוף האנושי. פסליה מבטאים ברגש את האדם ואת נקודות המפנה בחייו.
ילידת לבוב.
עלתה ארצה בשנת 1957.
גדלה בכפר אביב. (במושבי עשרת)
מתגוררת ברחובות.
אחות במקצועה- תורמת לקהילת הגיל השלישי בעיר.
עוסקת בפעילות התנדבותית, במסגרות שונות.
תחום האומנות והפיסול ליווה אותה מאז ומתמיד.
את השכלתה רכשה בתחילת דרכה אצל מורים ידועי שם שלימדו בבית התרבות ברחובות והם:
רחל שביט- רישום וציור.
נחום ענבר- טכניקות בפיסול.
רחל גורדין- פיסול קרמי.
תומס דיטרוי- הפיסול הקלאסי והפיגורטיבי.
שולמית הר-טל- טכניקת הפיסול ברשת.
ראובן שרף- פיסול באבן.
לואיזה שטרשטיין- פיסול בשיש ורישום.
2005 התקבלה אידה כחברה בעמותת האומנים והפסלים ברחובות.
2006 התקבלה לאגודת האומנים והפסלים המקצועיים בישראל ירושלים.
2007 התקבלה ל אימפקט-הארגון המקצועי של האמנים הפלסטיים בישראל ת"א .
